Green Energy Book
Promoting Green Energy Circulation
Creating a Low-Carbon and Clean Future
The“Green Energy Book”is a comprehensive international platform that integrates multiple functions to accelerate global green energy circulation. It aims to strengthen technical exchange, expand investment opportunities, ensure sustainability, and enable full life-cycle tracking of green energy products—actively contributing to carbon neutrality goals and energy security. The platform establishes a unified and transparent sustainability evaluation framework for green energy commodities, offering services such as sustainability assessment, trading, life-cycle management, and investment facilitation. By enhancing transaction reliability, supporting standardization and certification, preventing double counting of environmental attributes, and lowering market entry barriers, it fosters investment, removes international trade obstacles, and provides a sustainable business model and favorable environment for the long-term development of green energy.

Green energy (e.g. green hydrogen, green ammonia, green methanol, sustainable aviation fuel and green methane) represents critical solutions for achieving zero-carbon transitions in hard-to-abate sectors like aviation, shipping, and heavy industry. Beyond their traditional value as fuels and raw materials, the “green and low-carbon attributes” of these energy sources offer significant additional benefits to the industry. As the production and application of green energy expand, the certification, transfer, and trading of these attributes are poised to become a market of immense potential.
Green Hydrogen
Green hydrogen refers to low-carbon hydrogen produced through water electrolysis or other renewable pathways. It will play an irreplaceable role in decarbonization strategies for sectors that are difficult to electrify, such as petrochemicals, steel, heavy road transport, and maritime and aviation shipping.
Green Ammonia
Green ammonia is a widely used hydrogen-based fuel, typically synthesized from green hydrogen and nitrogen. It offers advantages such as convenient storage and long-distance transportation. In addition to its traditional role as fertilizer and a hydrogen carrier, green ammonia is increasingly applied in sectors like power generation and shipping.
Sustainable Aviation Fuel
Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is a collective term for clean fuels produced from renewable feedstocks that can reduce emissions and be directly used in conventional aircraft engines. Its feedstock sources include waste oils, municipal waste, agricultural and forestry residues, energy crops, and renewable electricity.
Green Methanol
Green methanol is a widely used hydrogen-based fuel, typically produced through biomass conversion or synthesized from green hydrogen and carbon dioxide. It offers advantages such as convenient storage and long-distance transportation. Beyond its traditional role as an industrial feedstock and hydrogen carrier, green methanol holds significant potential for applications in transportation, particularly in the shipping sector.
Green Methane
Green methane (also known as renewable natural gas) is a clean, low-carbon, and renewable form of natural gas produced from various organic waste materials, including crop residues, livestock manure, kitchen waste, and wastewater from agricultural and food processing activities.
Our Mission
Accelerate the adoption of green energy by building an integrated international platform that drives global development, trade, and investment in green energy.
Our Goal
Based on the current development status of various industries, we aim to explore methodologies for evaluating the sustainability attributes of green energy in China, establish standards and certification mechanisms for different types of green energy, and build a market trading system for green energy products.
Our Model
RMI collaborates with multiple partners, leveraging the strength of the entire industry chain to jointly build the “Green Energy Book” platform for green energy registration and integrated services. This initiative supports the establishment of domestic frameworks for standards, certification, and trading mechanisms in the green energy sector.
